Did an I**** member disrespect NewJeans (NJZ)'s Hanni through words and actions?
On the 7th, as NewJeans (NJZ) and ADOR faced off in court over contract termination, both sides submitted new evidence that had not been previously disclosed. Among them, notably, new allegations have emerged regarding the so-called "ignore her" comment by an I**** manager that led to NewJeans (NJZ) member Hanni's appearance at a parliamentary audit, which is expected to cause significant ripples.
This morning, a hearing was held at Seoul Central District Court's 50th Civil Division regarding ADOR's injunction application for preserving agency status and restricting advertising contracts against the five NewJeans (NJZ) members. The five NewJeans (NJZ) members attended court in coordinated black outfits, and ADOR CEO Kim Joo-young was also present.
Amid sharp confrontation between both sides, what caught attention was the CCTV footage revealed by ADOR. ADOR disclosed CCTV footage from May 27, 2024, in court and later distributed it to the media. The footage shows three I**** members bowing 90 degrees to Hanni as they enter the hallway, and also bowing 90 degrees to approaching NewJeans (NJZ) member Danielle.
ADOR stated that "since the CCTV footage has no audio recording function, it's impossible (to verify) the claim that the 'ignore her' comment was made."
The questionable point is that the CCTV footage revealed by ADOR in court today is not from the scene where Hanni claimed she heard the "ignore her" comment from the I**** manager.
